Dodge Viper
The Dodge Viper is a V10-powered sportscar manufactured by the Dodge division of Chrysler Corporation. Production of the two seat supercar began at New Mack Assembly in 1992 and moved to its current home at Conner Avenue Assembly in October 1995. Lamborghini Murcielago
The Lamborghini Murciélago is a supercar produced by a Italian automaker Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. and designed by Luc Donckerwolke. It was introduced in 2002 as the successor to the Diablo. The Murciélago is a two-door, two-seat coupé. To celebrate the company's 40 years in operation, 50 special edition Murciélagos were built during the autumn of 2003.
An open-top version called the Murciélago Roadster was introduced in 2004 for the 2005 model year. The roadster features similar performance to the coupé with a more aggressive rear flank, as well as a considerably higher price tag.
The Murciélago sports a 6.2 L version of the legendary Lamborghini V12 engine, a six-speed manual or six-speed sequential automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive. It also has a rear spoiler that can be raised to an angle of 70 degrees, side mirrors that fold in to improve aerodynamics, and side scoops that automatically open to the needed size to let in just the right amount of air needed to cool its engine.
The coupé's base price is US$ 289,000, which is US$ 90,000 more than its smaller sibling, the Lamborghini Gallardo.
In 2006 the Murciélago's engine was replaced by a stronger 6.5-litre engine and the car's name was changed to Murciélago LP640. For the 2007 model year Lamborghini did the same with the roadster model, which is now called Murciélago LP640 Roadster.
Ford GT
Why GT? Ford Motor Company chose the name GT to evoke memories of Ford's miraculous 1-2-3 victory in the 1966, 24 hours of Le Mans. Limited production of the Ford GT started in the summer of 2004 as a 2005 model. 2006 models are now being produced. The Ford that won at Le Mans was named the GT-40, but that name is now owned by a private individual.
Only 4200 GTs were be produced total in the 2005-2006 model run and most dealerships will not get a GT. NO GTs will be produced in 2007. The final Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price is $155,000 - $169,000 depending on options.. With only a few hundred GTs, and many enthusiasts, Ford employees and Ford dealers hoping to get a GT, market conditions and customer demands are predicted to result in substantially higher selling prices, particularly for cars built in the first part of the model year. Dealers offering their GT for sale to the public will likely take bids to determine who will get to purchase "the One."
